Looks exactly like the pictures do. I was skeptical because some of the reviews make it seem like It sounds bad but i would say it exceeded my expectations.
Easy to set up, the wires are nice and long so you have lots of room to work with. I was able to run the wires along a wall and still have extra. Although it was a small room.
The speakers are obviously not wireless. I noticed a few comments mentioned their disappointment in that. Ive never heard of a wireless surround sound system. Lol. You’d need the device to connect to each speaker through bluetooth and you’d also need a power source for the speakers. But yes this wired, plugged sound system does have bluetooth.
I have it hooked up to the TV via AUX and am able to achieve 5.1 sound with no issues. Volume is loud and i never have to use its loudest setting, to give you an idea of how loud it goes. The bass can also be adjusted and i find it to be quite decent. I like how simple adjustments can be made. Like adjusting volume on the speakers if you want it louder in the front or back.
I was worried i wouldnt be able to turn the light off but the remote has one button you press. Another user mentions going through multiple steps...? When its just one button on a remote.
I went in with low expectations and they were well exceeded. Im happy with this purchase so far in the first day. But ill see how long they last.
Yes, this set is loud. Thats about it. The FM radio seems to work ok (But is only 2.0 sound sent to all 5 speakers) but when you hook it up to 5.1 audio, it sounds tinny, hollow, and just plain cheap. Yes, it does get loud, but it seems so many other reviewers feel that 'volume = quality sound'
After struggling with it for hours feeling like it was something on my pc and/or dvd setup that was the issue, confusing me as to why both the computer and the dvd setup were 'sounding' the same even though both were separate unique setups, wondering why it sounded 'fine' with the FM radio (built into the sub, which I admit is neat and somewhat useful) I set up my old, very old, like pre2004, logitec x-530 setup, and they worked better.
I do feel I sorta expected this(They are cheap speakers) but was hoping to replace a very old set and have a set of speakers for the dvd (or pc) so that I did not have to keep switching them over.
As of note, did not try the bluetooth function or sd cards, usb, etc. I used the radio (works, but is only 2.0 sound) and the dvd 5.1 setup. (I also got the 2.0 speaker setup to work but again, no subwoofer)
For a cheap system its worth it maybe, but I feel the 150ish bucks spent on this would be better off holding onto until you can afford a better unit.
There's a rattle coming from the woofer, have to put it's volume at lower level to diminish the enoinning rattle sound I've asked for fees repairs

Bought this set because of the reviews. They said it was a good price for what you get, I disagree after using it for a few weeks now. Spend another $200 and get one that has decent bass and works without any buzzing noise, the buzzing alone makes me switch to the HDMI, this set is about $70 overpriced. When I received the package it was already opened. Wish I noticed because I wouldn't have purchased it if I'd known. The front right speaker works periodically and there's a consistent high-pitched buzz sound being emitted while using auxiliary mode via PC. The overall sound is low unless it's set on radio mode, but who uses the local radio while at home anyhow...
I mainly use it with my old Sony amplifier 7.1, I can only connect speakers with 8 ohms impedance. The new Sony amplifiers will take them for sure. If you have DVD amplifier player, the sound should be awesome.
Hooked up easily and sounds great. Sounds better than a 450 dollar sound system I had before. Also if youre mad the speakers dont have the light, it shows it on the sub only. Look closer at the pictures lol.
