El producto es muy bueno en Mac OSX y Windows. Aunque en dispositivos móviles (Android/iOS) no lo recomiendo. La protección es simple y consume demasiado procesador, por lo tanto sobrecalienta los celulares y consume sin control la pila.

I read the reviews where people complained that the activation code didn't work, but I took a chance anyways. Well, bad choice. My code did not work either. When entered it just says that the code was already in use and therefore not valid. I called Amazon and we tried to connect with Bitdefender customer service but couldn't get through. In the end, I requested and received a refund. The software itself is good if you can get a good code for it. I eventually bought it somewhere else albeit for more money. This is very frustrating and Bitdefender needs to address it. I could have just as easily switched to a different product. Forget customer service, it really doesn't exist. I won't be as forgiving the next time around. Strike one was an activation code that didn't work. Strike two is being unable to connect to customer service. Guess what strike three will mean...

Update: I worked with Bitdefender (Jason, Global eCommerce Director) and with information I sent them, they say that they have identified the root cause of the problem and have fixed it. They were very apologetic. Understand that this issue was no reflection on the software itself which I feel is one of the best, but just the installation process which had an obvious flaw in it. I still believe this is the best way to purchase the software if the process is working. I cannot independently verify that it is fixed since I didn't repurchase it to know, but Jason seemed very sincere and I trust that he is telling the truth. So I would give it a try and you could let me know. I updated my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because I didn't want the review to unfairly reflect on the software.

I am returning this because the software would not install when I typed in the activation code I got an error message saying that the code was already used even though the envelope was sealed and I had to scratch off the film to see the activation code. I actually called bitdefender and they told me they only support their product if you purchase it directly from them. BAD customer service

Decscription said activation code would be emailed. So I looked for email. It didn't come. Then I saw what looked liked an activation code on the box the CD came in so I tried to use that but it was rejected by Bitdefender. I then went back and read info on Amazon page that said code was on card with disk. I then was able to activate. The description that said "Code was to be emailed should be altered.

Been using Bitdefender Total Security for over a year and i love it. Easy to install and setup. Great for PC Gaming Setups. Block's incoming threats when your surfing the net & has a lot of security features. I love it when it notifies me if i have any windows 10 or any kind of update for my computer.

One of the best parts of the software is "Activate profiles automatically" area. Automatically activates the right profile based on your current activity and running applications. So if your playing Video Games on your PC and if you set the "Game Profile" Configure and at the bottom check box "Real-time optimization" it will improve performance in real-time and eliminates interruptions while "Gaming Profile" is turn on. You can even Turn on Activate profiles "Automatically" so you don't have to keep clicking on what Profile to use if your watching a movie, using your e-mail, Battery mode profile or Public WiFi (Wi-Fi). Bitdefender Total Security Support Center is great to use if you have any info that you would like ask. You can E-mail them or Call if you have any problems. You cant bet this price.

I use to have Norton Security for the longest time and had a little trouble using it and all ways had virus still come in when i surf the net & it will slow down my PC when i came. Bitdefender is my number one Total Security and hope it keep getting better.

The Utilities area is great. Has a One click "Optimizer" for remove unnecessary files one easy step. "Disk Cleanup" to clean your device from large files that take up a lot of space on your device. "Startup Optimizer" to boot faster by removing or delaying the start of your installed applications and a Anti-Theft protect what you store on your device in case of loss or theft. Bitdefender has some great Privacy Features like password manager, Data Protection,File Encryption, Safepay, Video & Audio Protection, Parental Advisor and Anti-Tracker and VPN that i here every one is using but you have to pay a little more but it is worth the money.

Update: Five months after installing this I'm removing it and moving to another product. When I pay for a product (as opposed to a "free" ad-based solution) I do not expect to have to play whack-a-mole with popups attempting to sell their expensive VPN service every time I log in to my system. I have no issue with the product from the standpoint of its performance (it's a bit resource-heavy, but on most current hardware it's not awful) - but they just successfully nagged me out of half of my subscription . . . and permanently lost a customer.

The product gets excellent reviews from a protection standpoint, and I have no reason to disagree. It's a bit overly aggressive on some things - like there are sites that still use plain-text passwords that I need to log into, and I don't want to acknowledge this every time I go there . . . but I do have one MAJOR beef with this product - the pop-ups, and the NAGGING ADVERTISING FOR THEIR ADD-ON SUBSCRIPTION PRODUCTS. It's almost bad enough to classify this as adware. You can turn some of it off, but it still likes to make "suggestion" for products you could use.
