El producto llegó con golpes en 2 de las 5 bocinas y con partes rotas en las uniones de los tornillos, así mismo los imanes se despegaron de las bocinas por lo que resultan inservibles, deberían tener más cuidado con los envíos

Well I bought these speakers to replace my home theater speakers for my Yamaha amplifier. I read reviews before purchasing and all looked good. Received the speakers hooked them up to the amp (instructions in the box are very limited Cheap) followed Yamaha's instructions as the ones in the box were crap. Amp does not stay on. Works for about 2 mins and goes into standby mode or something. Tried hooking up with RCA's and high level inputs. All in all amp does not work and speakers sound is unimpressive. Back it goes.

Speakers sounded absolutely fantastic...for a few months. Only two months into owning these speakers one of them now sounds tinny and crackles when certain sounds are played through it. The speakers have not been misused at all, no blasting of music or movies. Reached out to monoprice twice to explore options of BUYING a replacement speaker (as only one is not working properly) and have not heard back at all. I really would like to avoid buying an entire new set of speakers and I'd rather not introduce a speaker other than monoprice into this surround sound system as in my opinion it will look silly.

UPDATE: Monoprice responded after many attempts to contact them and stated that they do not offer individual speakers for replacement. Unfortunate that if one speaker goes bad you’re out an entire system unless you want to start mixing different brand name speakers. Two months of use and already one speaker is bad. Not happy.

This product claims to be a "home theater system in a box". It is not. It is jut a bunch a speakers. You will have to purchase something else like a receiver to even use them. As an example I purchased the Logitech home theater system. All the speakers run back directly to the subwoofer. The subwoofer plugs directly into your TV nothing extra is needed to use them. These are a just a bunch of speakers. I now will have to purchase a receiver or something else to even use them. Also does not come with any speaker cables. Total rip off.

Sounded great at first until they quit working less than six months later

I bought these for my daughter at college. I installed them for her and they sounded great when I first hooked them up in December. Less than six months later, the subwoofer stops working and the two surround speakers no longer work. I thought this was an outstanding bargain at $100. I normally buy nice speakers like Bose or Polk. The sound was very comparable, but her space was a little smaller, so the sound was great for the space she was in. I recommend spending a little more and getting far better quality and reliable speakers. Was able to find some Polk Audio with Subwoofer for $275. Not much more and much better quality and reliability.

One of the speakers blew within 6 months. Very Little usage. I mostly game in headphones and rarely get to use my speakers (when I have the house to myself)... I don't even listen to it very loud. I didn't try to contact Monoprice because it seems clear in reading others review that It would basically be a waste of time. I'm spending this time on a review to tell others to think twice... Cheap, yes... Decent looking, Yes... Sounded pretty good at first, Yes... Died quickly, now sound like junk... YES. Frustrated... Yes!!!
