There’s more grey in blue. Sturdy fabric. Squared. Hemmed. Wrinkled after cold hand wash and hung to dry. Label recommends tumble dry, low and low iron. Very pleased with quality. Recommended with notation on color.

Good fabric, inconsistent workmanship

Love the beautiful, clear blue of these napkins and their 100% cotton softness. But have to take off 1 star due to the fact that one of them was cut so far from square that it measured 20” x 21.5” before laundering and 19” x 20” after it was washed. The rest of the set measured close to 20” square before they were washed and dried and lost 1” during the process. They have remained at 19” square after subsequent washes, so the slight shrinkage is not a problem. I take off another star due to the less than perfect hemming. Hems vary by 1/8” from napkin to napkin with most being about ½”. There is no excuse for these problems with workmanship. If the napkins were perfectly cut and hemmed, they would benefit from a touch-up with an iron at the edges, but given the unevenness of the work, any ironing just draws attention to the size variations, so we use them washed and folded, but not ironed. They do function well as everyday napkins. The laundering instructions are standard: machine wash colors separately, cold water, gentle cycle; tumble dry low, and low iron. Made in India.

Sturdy and Perfect for All Types of Meals

I use napkins every day and with 2 teenage boys, they have to be sturdy. This one fits the bill. I don't entertain like I used to, but these are just as nice for formal dinners as well as your every-day dinners.

They are oversized but fits nicely in a standard napkin ring holder. They do get wrinkled after washing them, but if you're lazy like me and don't like to iron, I usually hit the dryer button again and most of the time, the wrinkles will shake itself off. I am not fussy that my napkins have to be perfectly straight. I can't afford to be fussy with two teenagers in the house.

I just like this particular brand. The price isn't too outrageous and the product doesn't shrink that much when washed (I only use cold water for wash and low heat for drying). It beats using a lot of paper napkins when I can use these over and over.

I got the pretty medium blue in my Vine order and it is really a nice shade of blue. I would say it is darker than robin's egg blue, but it is not navy. It is going to be one of my favorite sets of napkins in this house!

A very rich, royal shade of blue

I've ordered several sets of DII 100% cotton napkins due to their quality, durability and functionality - but I think this particular set of blue napkins are the best I've seen. The napkin's very rich, royal shade of blue simply looks stunning on my kitchen table.

I hope the attached photo shows what I mean. I folded the set of 6 and placed them in a napkin holder for the photo. I think the napkins add a splash of color and elegance to the setting (don't you?).

DII's napkins are a very generous 20x20 inch meaning they are sufficient for most any meal. It's so much nicer to use cotton napkins when compared with paper. I suspect my guests will appreciate using these napkins, too. And of course, washing and reusing cotton napkins saves a lot of money compared to disposables.

I highly recommend DI 100% Cotton napkins to everyone.

Attractive cotton napkins

This is a set of 6 large cotton napkins in solid colors for everyday use. New, the napkins measure 20x20", although they shrink to about 18.5x18.5" after the first wash. The fabric is heavy-duty 100% cotton. The napkins have 1/2" hems on all sides with square mitered corners. They are made in India.

I have found these napkins quite useful as well as attractive on my table. The fabric is thick, so the napkins will last through many, many launderings. The size is large, big enough to wipe hands after meals of fried chicken, ribs, or pizza. I also like to use these napkins to cover bread or rolls--they make a very attractive basket presentation, while being easy to clean. Since the napkins are 100% cotton, they need to be ironed after washing before using them for formal settings. But for everyday use, I find them just fine without ironing.

These are a nice size and not too small. They do require ironing, no matter how you wash/dry them. Then again, every napkin I own that is cotton requires ironing. Nice bright blue. It is difficult to get out greasy stains, but, again, that is always the case with cotton. I actually didn't notice much fading, but I wouldn't wash them with anything other than darker colors.

I think these are good deal for the price.

A lovely bright blue, very true to the color on the screen, it certainly makes a table pop. They wash well, although they do need some ironing afterwards (even when promptly removed from the drier!) and haven't lost their color or shrunk in size. A grease stain required extra treating, but a red wine and tomato stain came right out. Overall, this reviewer is pleased with everything except the ironing.

Love cloth napkins

I grew up with cloth napkins, and I like to use them often at home. These are pretty and super washable. I enjoy pulling cloth napkins out of the dryer and folding them neatly for the next dinner party. The DII 100% Cotton, Oversized Basic Everyday 20x20" Napkins are a nice size, cotton, and feel natural. Pretty colors too!

These are just beautiful. When a guest was here recently she commented on how soft they were. The colors are vibrant and well chosen to be cheerful, but with kind of an understated elegance. I like them very much and plan on having them in several colors. The bright blues are my favorites....so far.

The first thing that catches your eye with these everyday cotton napkins is the color. Royal blue big time. And I love the color blue.
These are very, very nice. Well made.
Because they are a solid color they would match up with a lot of different tablecloth colors and styles.
