I order these towels approximately 2 years ago, and really liked them. Recently, I ordered some more about a month ago, and I was very disappointed about the quality. It appears that the ones I recently ordered are inferior to the ones from 2 years ago. The most recent ones are thinner, and tear up when drying hands. I have to use 2 towels instead of one. The quality of the towels went down, while the price went up.

I don't think that I'll be buying this product anymore.

I enjoy having this paper towel dispenser at my shop. A handy way to have paper towels on hand. It is a bit tricky to get the centerpiece out to feed into the dispenser but once you figure it out it's not that bad. My main complaint is that the paper towels are in a box ( 6 roles ) per box and there is No protection for them. My last box was delivered on a rainy day and left on the front porch steps. When I came home the box was soaked and falling apart. (Pics) there is no plastic to protect the paper inside the box. I was not happy. Some of the towels were wet on the bottom edges and I placed them out to dry.
This should not happen. they should be wrapped in plastic. I have asked the USPS to leave my deliveries at the side door under an awning, They Never Do.
So be aware that if it is raining and they are left for some time...they will get wet. I was able to save mine. Next time maybe not

I really like this dispenser. I got tired of buying expensive paper towels every other week, so I bought this dispenser and some bulk center pull paper towels and I'm saving money. At first, I thought that I would not be able to sit this dispenser on a flat surface because of its round shape on the bottom. So I bought a 10" plastic plate and applied some velcro strips to the plate and to the bottom of the dispenser, and it created a flat surface that works really well! I bought three dispensers one for each of my bathrooms, and one for the kitchen. I'm happy with this product.

Since buying "normal" paper towels has become impossible I looked for alternatives and tried these out. I normally purchase Bounty which are large, thick and durable and I knew this was going to be a major compromise and it is. I did not buy the dispenser so this review is only for the towels.

There were conflicting comments regarding perforations and yes, they have them- in fact, they tear off better than bargain brand towels which easily tear apart. The sheets are much smaller than normal paper towels- about 2" shorter and 3" narrower so I'll be using more to accomplish the same tasks. On the plus side I was surprised at the softness- again, I think better than bargain brands. Overall I was happy with the quality of them.

The rolls are bigger and heavier than normal so I made a place for them under my counter and plan to use them only for cleaning which will free up my dwindling supply of Bounty for other uses. Overall I think these are very good for what they are and I would probably purchase them again.

Like many families living through the Covid crisis, we found ourselves out of paper towels at home and unable to find more at our local stores or online. These have turned out to be a great alternative. We don't have the commercial dispenser but the roll comes with a cardboard tube just like "regular" paper towels and the roll (324 sheets) fit on our regular paper towel holder! (upright holder, not wall mounted) They're a little thin compared to Bounty but they're totally functional and nothing like elementary school brown paper towels. If you're looking for an alternative to traditional paper towels these are a winner.

Center cardboard roll hard to pull out.

To use this product you have to pull out the center cardboard roll, in the video it shows the person pulling it out with absolutely no problem, just slips right out. I have ordered these more than a couple of times, out of need, and none of the rolls have been easy to use!. The center cardboard is SUPER difficult to loosen and pull out, you have to really work at it in order to get it to come out! Absorbency really doesn't exist, each sheet is super thin. The biggest plus however is that if you use it with it's holder it looks neat and dispensing it is easy, if you don't need to pick up big spills, this will work for you. We have ours over the laundry room sink to wipe down the shelves and dry our hands.

Since is not shipped in shipping box, the original box was delivered damaged. In times like this when everyone is concerned about COVID-19 and other viruses and bacteria, having paper towels exposed because of damaged box does not make you feel comfortable and safe using those towels.
It may be great product if shipped right. My recommendation will be either have the original box inside another box, or have the paper towel rolls inside original box protected with plastic wrap or bag (from manufacture).
I will return the item because I don't feel comfortable and safe to use it.
Amazon is great, and I hope that will find the right solution for this.

Cheaply made, poorly packed arrvied broken

The dispenser is made of very thin plastic and the hinge that allows the dispenser to open is very flimsy and feels like its going to break. When the front panel/door is open it tends to bind and or wedge against the side of the dispenser making me pull on it to close it which will most likely just cause it to break sooner or later. It seems to work fairly well once loaded with roll of paper towels. But opening and closing to refill is where it will end up failing. A better/ sturdier hinge system would make all the difference. The dispenser arrived in a GP box with no packing materials what so ever. There was no damage to the box but the dispenser was cracked across the front on the smoked colored door. Too much trouble to return it and too risky with the cov-19 virus going around so I am stuck with a damaged dispenser in my utility room. GP is a company that has been around for a long time and I expected better quality and packing from them. Also the so called low paper indicator doesn't work.

When I initially opened the box, I thought the wrong type of paper towels were placed inside of the correct box. I was irritated and ready to request a replacement when I decided to look at the directions on the actual box. Reading is Fundamental... The huge hole on the inside of each roll should be slowly pulled out like a reverse can of rolls. The quality of the rolls is superior to most domestically used brands.

Side note: You can lay these flat on the countertop and the paper towels are easy to pull with a light touch with yanking the paper towel holder. That is only if you use the container made for the Center Pull SoftPull paper towels.
