I cannot believe I only discovered this now! I've been using the stand that came with my Blue Snowball USB Mic, and it was tough to get myself situated before I start my stream, music recording, or doing voiceovers for my YouTube videos. Great product! The only thing I don't quite like is the clamp foam thing. After a few days, my set up was somewhat loose and I had to re-tighted the clamp, only to see that the foam shrank from the pressure. I like that it comes with a pop-filter! Now when I sing or talk, there's no more 'pop' noise that I have to edit out. Overall, it's great and holds up my mic, and I can adjust it at almost any height :)

For the the clamp where you attach the actual arm to the table. There will be a little metal bar where you put into the clamp and then tighten it with a screw. I constantly move my arm away and towards me when im playing games or working. The metal swivel the arm has been on, has been slowly wearing away because the screw it is tightened by. To fix this I Put some of that wax paper from stickers and wrapped it around the insert so it could fill in the gap without the screw messing it up.

Other than that its a good arm for it price. If you can put the arm on a raised surface for more arm clearance if you have big arms or hands. Personally I don't have those problems but they are very close to my arms and hands when the arm is towards me.

I started streaming a couple months ago and my first month I used a TV dinner box as a stand for my mic to lift it up to my mouth so I didn't have to bend forward to talk. This thing is a life saver. For $20 I got an adjustable arm stand, windscreen, and pop filter. That's definitely a deal. I was kicking myself for buying a $12 pop filter prior to looking for a stand because honestly the one that came with it works just the same. The windscreen and pop filter together make my audio sound so clean, it's like I have a brand new mic.

Unfortunately, my desk only has about half an inch for the clamp to grab onto on the edge of my desk but I was able to stuff a tiny block of wood the same thickness as my desk to make it clamp on more securely and it worked perfectly.

My only bit of advice as to how I would improve this product would be that I wish there was some sort of like clamps or hooks maybe near where the knobs are to tighten joints for me to thread the cable through to make wire management a little better. Right now I just have my cord coiling around the arm like a snake and it works but sometimes it will get too taut or just look unsightly.

This stand is good for the price, however I couldn’t get the adapter to screw all the way into my snowball ice. It still supports it, but I’m scared that it may eventually fall if it get shaken around too much.

Other than that assembly was easy, the adjustable arm is very nice, and the included pop filter is a nice extra.

Honestly I highly recommend this, and sound quality is much better than just leaving your snowball on the desk.

Sturdy enough to hold Blue Yeti

I was on the fence about purchasing this microphone arm after some reviews mentioned it dips a little with a Blue Yeti. My Yeti is connected to a spider mount and also has the included pop filter connected. After months of use, I have had no issues with dipping. Even when extending the arm about as far as it will go to get across my desk. If you have a microphone smaller than a Yeti, I 100% recommend this arm. Especially at this price. Even with a microphone as heavy as a Yeti, I don't think you will have any issues. The included pop filter is pretty nice as well.

If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the part where the arm connects to the base. The arm rests into a hole and a screw applies tension to keep the arm from swinging. This screw becomes loose, even when I'm not moving the arm, which causes the arm to rotate in the base. This hasn't been an issue with the arm extended, but when the arm is compacted. I imagine the arm being extended provides enough tension on the base to avoid this being an issue. All it takes to fix this is a quick turn of the tensioning screw, but it happens frequent enough to be annoying.

This is my first time using a mic arm rather than using the given stand for my mic, and I'm rather pleased with it. The included pop filter gave a very minor improvement to quality (which is a plus since I would have paid the same price without it), and doesn't really fall apart or move much.

Ive read some reviews from some time back where the mic fell or the mount didn't work, but I'm guessing that's been fixed, as I've had no issue whatsoever with the stability, sturdiness, or safety of using it.

I would advise with using any mic or other gadget arm that it not be placed directly over something expensive regardless, but even if that's not possible, this arm will to the job very well, especially considering that it's 1/5th the cost of the one sold by the mic manufacturer themselves, and that one doesn't even come with a pop filter.

Tl;Dr: Whether or not you're on a budget, this is probably the best mic arm you'll find for this mic regardless of price. It's just a bonus that it happens to be so inexpensive.

Works great with my Blue Snowball mic. When you take this out of the box, it's packed very well with foam. The springs have worked great and keeps the microphone in place wherever I place it. The microphone screws into the metal base and it includes a foam sleeve, kinda tight to get one but it does fit. And the front pop filter just screws onto the metal frame. The pop filter needs to be mounted facing up or it will droop down but other than that, this is a solid choice for a mic stand. Only thing I suggest would be getting a longer data cable for your mic, I taped it to the arm so it doesn't move when adjust the mic.
