Had it for a couple months, all was well.. A couple of days ago I went to pull it down and the spring snapped off and smacked my monitor!?!? Monitor just went out of warranty so that's a goner. Thankfully I just upgraded to a 165Hz but its a bummer that i'm out a $120 monitor.

The mic stand and accessories came in several pieces but no instructions were included. That aside, I was more than capable of putting it together without guidance. Unexpectedly the package included complimentary thread tape to help keep everything in place. Most importantly, I did not receive the dual layered mic pop filter, one of the main reasons why I chose this item, and there was no screw adapter to allow me to attach my Blue Snowball iCE microphone to the arm. Major fail.

I have NEVER once written an Amazon review, but I had to for this trash. Having owned this for 4 months, I can confidently say DO. NOT. BUY. THIS! It was fine for around a month, then the peg that holds the arm itself started warping. A cheap, small piece of hollow metal holds the entire arm. Month after month it continued to fail until the arm no longer held sturdy, and it was very floppy and loose, having to perfectly position it every single time I wanted to use it. If you plan to NEVER even move the arm, maybe it'll work. However if you want to move it out of the way when you're not using it, or change the positioning, do not buy this. The peg holding the arm gets completely destroyed when moved frequently, which is kind of the point of having an adjustable arm.

As I said in the title, this product shaves off metal dust at the base while rotating, since there is nothing, no washer or anything durable, to prevent it from scraping aginst itself. I had to fix this with electrical tape, but I still find metal dust around my room regualrly, usually when it sticks to my hands or feet. This is a huge health hazard and can deteriorate your lungs over time if you inhale this dust. If you like having pneumenoconiosis, this is a great product. Otherwise, spring for something with a better construciton that won't give you an incurable disease. Cellular therapy is expensive.

This mic stand is mediocre at best, its cheap so i guess you get what you pay for but i expected it to be atleast somewhat decent. I have tightened it to my desk as far as it can go to keep it in place and it still wobbles around and gets loose frequently. You have to keep re-adjusting the microphone since it constantly droops down and doesnt stay in place no matter how tight you put it. Its better to save up for a better one since this one is not ideal for anyone even if you are on a budget. This is a mic stand that can barely do what its designed for.

This just droops down and doesn't stay stiff anymore. Used for a few months before it just completely drooped down and is totally worthless now. So bummed I spent the money on this..

I was excited to buy this as I desperately need a good mic stand arm, but when I got the product I was disappointed to say the least. After attaching this to my desk at home, the clamp would often come undone and fall off of my desk, and whenever I would move the arm to where my mic was next to my face, the arm would just fall back down to where it was, even after tightening. Overall this product was very poorly made and does not function properly, but I guess you get what you payed for.

Very simple yet crappy design. If you like moving your mic around occasionally to talk, I do not recommend this stand. The area where it swivels will get fatigued very fast and will make the entire arm sag and eventually break.
