Great screen with the right application

This is a good screen for my application, and Had to modify the way it was used. I would not use the hooks or the rope which is a cheap design. The screen is good quality. I ended up building a frame with 1 x 4 that cost about $12 and a $9.99 staple gun. Only thing would be better if I painted the wood white.

This screen outperformed my expectations. Isn't a high-quality blackout screen, but it's also dirt cheap. Gets the job done and does a good job at it. The only downside is the hooks. The adhesive is absolutely terrible. In order to hang the screen properly, you do HAVE to stretch the fabric. The only issue is the adhesive can't handle the strength of the stretched fabric. By the end of the night, 75% of the hooks have fallen off. Do yourself a favor and get some simple push pin thumbtacks. Easy fix.

My setup is outside against siding using siding clips on all holes at the top and 2 rubber bands in the bottom corners going to siding clips to hold the screen solid.

Like most reviewers said, this is a piece of white cloth with a black border. If you have it up against a surface, it’ll work great but if you’re mounting it on a stand without putting it against a backing, light will go through it.

It’s very easy to stain since it’s cloth and the only way to remove them is to wash it (which you can do). The cloth material doesn’t feel like it’ll hold up to many wash cycles though.

It is definitely not waterproof. I was hoping that I could leave this outside.

It’s extremely light. If outdoors, you will need to secure it from the bottom or the wind will move it.

Lastly, it’s a stretchy material. If you just hang it, it won’t be even. It needs support in all 4 corners minimum.

In the end, it’s a cheap Chinese piece of cloth that’s being sold at a massive markup. The instructions make it evident that this is just another Chinese high profit product.

Easy to use

This screen works really well with my View Sonic projector to watch movies and tv outside. I built a frame out of PVC pipe and attach this screen to the frame using bungee cords. This is really convenient for setting up/taking down and taking places if needed. The screen is very stretchy which limits lines on the screen and the built in holes work well with attaching to the frame. My biggest complaint is the screen is white on both sides so if it isn't completely dark out, the projection goes right through the screen making it hard to see. It works great if it is dark out. It might be nice if there were a dark/thicker layer on one side to block the light from shining though for earlier in the evening.

First of all, let me say that the screen itself is nearly perfect. Any wrinkles from being folded in the package come out immediately upon hanging and stretching the screen just a bit. The quality and construction of the screen and the thick border material with the metal grommets seems to be quite good. We've used the screen in two different locations in our backyard for movie nights and it's been easy to hang as well as take down.
Images are bright and crisp. Our projector is a little old and tends to give everything a slight blue-ish hue, but even that seemed minimized against this screen.
My only complaint is that the not-3M double sided tapes included for use with the plastic hooks is a little on the weak side. We've had one corner hook in particular come off twice. You can always use actual 3M tapes and they work just fine. The ones included seem to stick better to unpainted plastic than any other painted material we've tried to mount them to. (They held really well to the unpainted plastic/vinyl rain gutters, but not so good to the painted wooden pergola.)
There are also two lengths of black cord included, and that appears to be of decent quality as well.
There are many screens available on Amazon, and we're very happy with our choice in this one.

Good for the price

This is fine for the price but I would rather spend a little bit more and get something more substantial. The idea is fantastic but basic. Essentially this is a semi thick white sheet with grommets to hand it from around the edge. The command strip style hooks that are used to hang it are very cheap. You’re better off ordering the real command strips. They sticky backs aren’t even perforated all the way through. When you go to separate them they make a big mess of the stickers stretching out and pulling apart the other ones. When you do get them hung they don’t hold long. I think the first couple lasted less than a whole movie and the rest fell by morning.
The sheet itself is thin enough that when it’s hung on the wall you can see everything behind it even when a movie is playing. Hang this in front of a solid wall and you will be fine. Our intention was to hang this from our awning for camping but I don’t think it will be thick enough. I think I may need to double it up.

Surprisingly Good Picture; Probably Best if Mounted on Frame for Outdoor Use

SIZE & MOUNTING: The 120" screen was perfect for outdoor movie viewing. When it arrived, I was second guessing the large size, but it was perfect width for mounting on 10 ft electrical conduit frame with maker pipe connectors. I stretched it with ball bungies.

STRECHINESS/WRINKLES: While the posting listed that the screen has minimal scallops, I found that the edges were quite visibly bowed between grommets. The viewing portion of screen was quite flat and free from wrinkles/warbles. I did iron before mounting to remove the creases from shipping. I went up to the silk setting on my Rowenta iron without burning the fabric. I did not try any hotter.

MATERIAL/THICKNESS: Do not think of thick black-out vinyl cloth. This is more like polyester knit. Even the black edges are in a slightly stretchy fabric, which probably helps to get all the wrinkles out when mounting. While the fabric is not 100% opaque, this did not effect outdoor viewing, even at dusk. The movie looked crystal clear.

Screen quality is wonderful but is somewhat to get the plane of the screen completely smooth without wrinkles. The command hooks provided did take the paint off my walls and ironically werent sticky enough to hold the screen taut. I would suggest getting a box of push pins to get the screen completely smooth.

This screen is excellent overall. The white silk is unblemished and makes for excellent viewing. My only issue with the screen is putting it up and keeping it up on the wall. It is so very easy to put up but it came out crooked since it's entirely flexible with no real tools/tips to keep it straight; get yourself a leveler and straight line the wall before installing it. As for keeping it up, our wall has minimal texture to it, but there is a little bit (standard apartment wall) so I expect that is why the strips of tape don't stay well on the wall. The corners fall down very often. I went and purchased a different style command strip and it stays up just fine. Overall, the minor issue with putting it up and keeping it there are completely within reason. I am looking at purchasing this as a gift for someone this Christmas now that I know the quality is worth it.

It takes up a big chunk of the wall and comes with everything you need to set it up. I used finishing nails on the top center and corners though. The material has a soft fuzzy matte finish. Works great for the price. I would consider a different one next time though because the material makes the picture quality a bit off. My son is very happy with his screen so it is what it is A tip. Make sure you set your projector up before you put up the screen. It makes it easier to place it correctly on the wall.
