I recently went through a home theater upgrade and wanted to get some dolby atmos speakers for a 7.1.2 setup. After quite a bit of searching I decided to give these a go and so far I haven't been disappointed with them. The go well with my Polk Audio TSi200 front speakers as those have a gloss black top and these are pretty much all gloss black except for the grilles. I did have to adjust the angle of them to better suit my listening area but that's got nothing to do with the speakers themselves.
Wow, I connected to my old Onkyo TX-NR609 A/V system (hope to upgrade to TX-NR757 soon) 'height' channel and can feel quite noticeable improvement in the surround field. Can't wait for my new TX-NR757!!!
Bought a pair (careful they're sold separately) to add height dimension and was pleasantly surprised they match my Snell XA Towers pretty well acoustically I mounted them on some cheap stands I found on Amazon because the Snell's are in the wall. The NHT's have mounting brackets for the stands. Not sure of their impedance but no problems handling 100 watts X 7 all channels driven.
I was looking at a lot of similar all sold in pairs, so imagine my surprise when 1 single speaker arrives at my doorstep. Who sells a single speaker. Lesson learned that next time look for the 's' on things like this. It went from what I thought was a good deal to costing more than brands I know to get two. I think it's a bit underhanded to market it this way, I got caught in it. Sent it back as soon as I saw it was only 1 speaker in the package.
