It fit into the OEM location without a problem, so that's a plus. This is mostly what I cared about.
However, the speaker itself did not line up to more than one hole at a time on the adapter. Maybe the speaker uses non-standard mounts, but I have nothing to compare it to in order to verify.
I ended up drilling out a few extra holes into the mount and it was fine. It was a little extra work considering the entire point of the adapter was to avoid situations like this, but it all ended well.
Fit great in my 2015 GMC Acadia Denali. I put a set of 6.75" speakers in the doors. I was disappointed that the holes for the speaker screws stripped very easily. It's hard to get a good seal when you have stripped screws! Soft plastic.
If you have the tools and the stock speakers I recommend you modify those instead of using these. They are cheap plastic and just by holding them I can tell they will be inclined to rattle when you turn it up. Save your money
It fits fine, although the screw holes for the speakers don't line up and are not really holes but slots so it relies on a bind to hold them in. I used epoxy on the screws in back once installed to make it a more permanent and secure attachment.
These fit the front doors (only) of a 2007-2013 Silverado/Sierra. They are not particularly stiff or thick, but assuming you're going to be putting in some closed cell foam (gasket material) behind these, you should be fine. They will hold a 6.5" speaker. And by 6.5" I mean 6.5". It will not fit those 6.75" speakers at all.
