Excelente calidad de estos conectores tipo banana, la marca es muy recomendable, son faciles de usar, yo los use con un receptor AVR Marantz, junto con las bocinas de torre y facilita hacer las conexiones de el cableado de las bocinas al AVR.
I am an AV custom installer and I use a lot of banana plugs. Sick of paying $3 a pair, I tried these out since they worked out to $2 a pair ($24 for 12 pair). They are okay, but I have to say I won't be ordering them again. The internal design where it twists down onto the wire to hold it doesn't hold the wire very well. So every fourth or fifth banana plug I hook up to a cable has to be redone as the wire comes out. Nice try, but won't be buying these again!
These banana plugs are adequate for small Atmos Speakers. Just wish Mfg-Monster was still making banana plugs. I bought some Monsters plugs 10 yrs and still consider them the top of the line in banana plugs
Did some research and found that these were the best plug for the money. I like the looks and feel the fit was good for my application. The problem was that 3 of the plugs failed when screwing them together, the banana side of the plug had no screw threads to screw into the barrel part. I did not use pliers to screw them together just finger tight. It is a shame these failed because I like this type of plug as opposed to the set screw type.
These seem to be well made and the method for attaching them to the wire made installation very easy. But they are very long and that aspect was presented as being an advantage. What I found was that the length did not make them any better and claiming the extra length means a better connection was false- especially when the extra length results in just having more of the plug hanging out of the port, which was the case for me..
I do not like the way you have to bend the wire back around the sides of these plugs to make the contact. I'd prefer a plug that would allow you to tighten the wire around a screw or plug it into something that holds it securely. It is strange to take a nicely twisted wire and then have to "unbraid" it in multiple directions around the "teeth" of one part and then pinch it down by tightening the other part together. I don't know what I would have done with a solid wire instead of strands of wire. Otherwise, they seem to work fine.
Everything looks solid on these (for my home theater).
Only reason I took away a few stars is that I did not receive an even number of red/black connectors. I got 18 black connectors and only 6 red connectors. Not the end of the world (I will have to label the speaker wires).
I was replacing the old banana plugs and when I push the new ones in they did not fit as tight as the old ones. My old one are the type that the speaker wire screwed in. I wanted something with a more positive connection. These fit the bill, but the plug it self was not as good of a fit as the old plugs. It didn't take much to remove them.
The caps threads fail on mean when i only use a 12 gauge speaker wire. i only use 4 pairs out of my 12 pairs set. There two of them already fail on me. The thread seems to torn or too loose. It would not tighten the speaker wires anymore.
These are real good looking and nice, but they do however lose their shape after just one use. I took a couple brand new plugs just to test their durability and unfortunately, the flared edges did bend after just plugging it in once. I think I'll try and find something a little stronger
