I love the swiffer duster brand and the only reason I’m giving it a three star is because it says 18 on the box and I only got 17. I hope this is not an ongoing manufacturing defect but somebody needs to learn how to count!! The consumer is being cheated!!

Wish I bought the 360 dusters. These ones are a bit harder / more cumbersome to use. That said, I would not ever buy generic, so always stick with the actual Swiffer brand. I've bought the generic ones before and they make more dust!

I find it a bit odd that in order to extrapolate that these are NOT round / cylindrical in shape is to infer that the '180' refers to degrees in a circle OR that when reading about the 'Swiffer 360' that it states it has '...50% more fibers . . ' and therefore the 'Swiffer 180' has fibers on only half the duster head. I read all the negative reviews involving installing the duster onto the handle and/or the duster coming off the handle and/or the length of time required to 'learn' how to install and use. I have to say that after receiving my set I can see what the negative reviews were all about. I did not have any issues (maybe because I had prepared by reading all the reviews) but I certainly could see room for improvement in the location of the insert tubes. A simple addition of color to any part by the insertion tubes would suffice.
I bought the 'Swiffer Dusters Heavy Duty Extender Handle Starter Kit (1 Handle, 12 Dusters)' and added the 'Swiffer 180 Dusters, Unscented, 18 Count.' Now this I find to be extremely odd in that one is not able to get the unscented in the 360° full duster head. No, the unscented duster heads come only in the 180° half duster head. A bit confusing and might I add, a tad deceitful. One should not have to wade through 'all products available information' just to ascertain whether the unscented are limited to a half duster head.
Having said and whined about all that, I found the product to be fairly easy to discover where the insertion tubes are located on the duster head, how to insert the handle prongs into the duster head and how to adjust the handle and tilt-head. The product also does the job of dusting quite well and 'hangs onto' the dust. I read with some glee a review that stated they were unhappy because the duster head just pushed dust around in clumps. I suggest vacuuming first if that is the amount of duct one is trying to collect / remove.

I love the idea of a disposable duster, however, I am not a fan of this design. The cloth/duster part is not that thick, and as a result, when you slide the wand through the disposable attachment the plastic ends of the wand stick through. As I dusted delicate items, I could hear the plastic scraping against the pictures/furnishings I was dusting. Bottom line- this item is good for hard scratch-free surfaces such as granite, or walls, however, I would never use it on wood, glass, artwork of any type or canvases.

Magnetic this duster is not, as it is about as attractive to a thin coating of dust as a real magnet is. You'll be picking dust up, sure, but only because you are essentially sweeping the dust against the fibers in the duster and forcing them to get stuck inside. I honestly recall these Swifter Dusters being better, but after a few uses from the package I find I may have been wearing rose tinted glasses.

I made a point to look to see if they were refills and didn't see that on the box. In fact, on the box they show how to attach it to the handle, so I assumed the handle was included. NO! So I haven't used them.

Note 180 is for a 180 degree dusting surface. This duster only dusts on 1 side not all the way around (360 degrees). If you have a swifter dusting wand that can be angled both ways (almost 360) this is only a semi-functioning replacement. Other than that dusts fine. 18 count in the box, not 180.

I normally use the more industrial ones that are double-sided I bought these and I'm not too thrilled with them I have to go through twice as many if not more than with the actual yellow ones
