This was a great system to begin with. Great speakers, great subwoofer, very easy to connect to my receiver.
However, my subwoofer failed 2 months after buying. I had to go through one of Harman Kardon's authorized repair centers to have it repaired. It has been almost 4 months now and I have not received my subwoofer yet. Their service is absolutely god-awful. By far the most painful service reps I have ever had to deal with. Between the repair center and their customer service, nobody knows what is wrong or what is going on. Nobody can give me a straight answer and I am on the verge of asking for an entire refund. This has been absolute nonsense and piss-poor service. Spend the extra money and go with literally any other sound system manufacturer
The sub stopped working after a few months. I went back and forth with Customer Service, and they made me ship it back, then sat on things for a few months before indicating that I needed to return the entire system (which means I would have been without ANY speakers instead of just my sub) for this entire time because the unit was backordered.

Ordered and arrived in Nov. 2017. At the end of Jan. 2018, subwoofer stopped playing. Contacted Harman Kardon directly, they suggested it may be my receiver not putting out signal to engaged sub. Since I purchased the Sony STR-DH550 from best buy, I had no problem returning the receiver for a new one. Still no sub. Small speakers sound and look good but system is worthless without working sub.
The speakers and sub were great the first month i owned them. After that the sub stopped working. Something to do with the auto sense switch being defective. With this unit being discontinued by the manufacture, HK is not willing to troubleshoot or honor their warranty on this product. The closest in house authorized repair facility is in Michigan.... Will not buy any HK products again.
