Pleasant sound but uncomfortable headband

I was expecting good things from these headphones as I have an excellent Superlux headphone amplifier but was disappointed. Maybe if my head was smaller they would have been fine but with a slightly larger head than average these were too tight fitting. I have several headphones but none is tight like these. If I try to center the hole in the pads over my ears the head band presses unbearably on the top of my head. It's not well padded anyway, which doesn't help. Also, although the cups are large, the pad hole is only about 5cms in diameter so these sit on, not over your ears. Moving my head around there was no frame noise.
The package is very good value with a spare cable and velour pads to compliment the attached pleather ones. The cable attachment is, uniquely in my experience, a male jack so if you want to try out your own different cables you need to attach a socket/socket adapter which will add an extra connection and weight to the cord. I was only able to listen for about 30 minutes before stopping because of discomfort but they sounded neutral and well focused, with reasonable soundstaging. Dynamics were not very good but they need playing in for a few hours before commenting further and I can't do that for the aforementioned reasons.
If you have a smaller than average head they may suit you, otherwise I would avoid.

I bought these back in 2016 (after reviews from the audiophiles on reddit) and loved them as they sounded lovely and warm and were the most comfy headphones I have ever owned (and I've owned loads as I used to be a DJ and Music Producer). I purchased a separate Mic and attached it to them for gaming. Happy days.... but... my Mic broke and so I tried a few gaming headsets (the wires with a separate Mic attached were super annoying!)... none matched the quality of sound from these headphones. For another purpose, I bought a different set of popular headphones. Even those are no where near in quality of sound. So now I find myself here today, looking at these headphones again to see if the manufacturer has made any headsets... I notice the 'write your review' and thought i'd share.
At the moment I'm using these as headphones and another headsets Mic for gaming!!!

Superb sound. With a little bit of EQ, you get accurate detailed and accurate lows mids and highs with excellent soundstage and pin point imaging. However pads are not comfortable, headband torn within the first hour. Poor build quality for the cheap price.

I got suprelux joints back home, but i needed another one for my traverl and its perfect!
I you want balanced headphones, for anything this is no brainer. BUY IT!
You got pouch, extra pads, 1m cabel, 3 m cabel, big adapter for 3.5 mm so.
Just buy it! And thank me later!!!!!!!

very nice warm sound, much towards bass, but trebles are there as well, mids somewhere behind a bit V shape signature, now the build quality ... ;-) is just not there, some of the air pillows built in the headband out of air straight out of the box, very uncomfortable ear pads. For £15 yes, they will be ok but not more then that, you could easily get a cheaper and better set.

Very good pair of cans for money, good bass, mid and highs not as good as low but still ok no complain. If you looking for cans with good bass for money this is for you. They are comfy too with velour pads. Great headphones for small money. Recommended.

They sounded fantastic, however are creakly made and the male cable adapter split after 7 months of moderate use. Out of the return window unfortunately and now have a £40 pair of ear muffs!

Premetto che non sono un audiofilo, pertanto mi limiterò a darmi la mia opinione paragonandole alle cuffie che ho utilizzato in precedenza.
Nella confezione troviamo:
- Sacchetto per riporle/trasportarle
- Cuffie
- Cavo da 1M e da 3M con clip per assicurarlo all'aggancio della cuffia
- Padiglioni in velluto( quelli in pelle sono già montati)
- Adattatore da 3.5mm a 6.3mm

Le uso prevalentemente per giocare su PC e quando guardo i film. Le cuffie che utilizzavo precedentemente erano della SADES.
Rispetto a quest'ultime, le Superlux sono nettamente migliori:
- Bassi molto più avvolgenti e più pieni
- Alti più presenti e definiti
- Audio in se più pulito e fedele( frequenza da 10-30,000 Hz)
- Ottima vestibilità, comoda la banda autoregolante che mantiene le cuffie in posizione senza infastidire o essere troppo pressante
- Ottimo l'avvolgimento dei padiglioni(da 50mm di diametro), consiglio in tutti i casi di montare quelli in velluto in quanto quelli in pelle risultato più caldi(in estate) e comunque molto meno morbidi e comodi.
- Molto utile il doppio cavo in dotazione che permette di non dover arrotolare il cavo nel momento in cui magari si ascolta musica dal cellulare nella tasca o simili. Utile anche l'adattatore da 6.3mm per connetterle all'amplificatore.
- Leggere(256g) e tranquillamente indossabili per ore senza avvertire fastidio (dipende poi dalla sensibilità di ognuno, ma rispetto alle SADES posso indossarle per molto più tempo)
Consiglio indubbiamente l'acquisto a chi vuole fare un salto in avanti nel proprio comparto audio senza spendere un esagerazione ma avendo comunque il massimo
