Definitely not the quality I would expect from Columbia. I'm 5'4" 115 lbs and normally would wear a small but this was very roomy on me. I like the option of being able to layer under this jacket but I'm quite sure I could still do this with an XS. Jacket was stiff - especially cuffs. I did not wash it to see if it would soften because I plan to return it. The worst part about it was the pockets. Lined with some material that catches on your skin in 100 places when you put your hand inside. Ugh! Will look elsewhere for a better quality replacement for my current fleece jacket.

I bought this jacket in a size Large. It was great condition and all over I was very happy with it, but I decided I’d like a looser fit so I ordered an XL from the same seller. The XL came quickly, but it feels like it’s a 2X and the Columbia logo was a patch, not embroidered. I looked back at the website and it did say, in the small print, it could have the embroidered logo or a patch. Not cool. It makes it look cheap! Needless to say, I’m not very happy. They should give you the choice or make that a little more clear.

I thought this was the same as the columbia sweater that I've got. I ordered the same size as the one I have and then had to return it and order a size smaller in this one. Even still it is larger than the other one I've got; roomy in the mid section and baggy sleeves. The elastic at the wrists is a bit snug when I pull up the sleeves at all though, which I like to do. I am actually disappointed in this sweater and I should have returned it, but it's too late now. I hardly wear it. It is warm and soft, but not what I was wanting I guess. I wouldn't recommend this jacket.

Inaccurate color!

Just like another reviewer said the color isn’t accurate! It’s supposed to be black but it’s grey. I put the black back of a vitamin bottle for contrast.
Also, it’s not very soft. I’m not sure if this is a genuine product…

No loop on neck of jacket to hang fleece

The fleece is average quality for the price but I wouldn’t buy again simply because there is no loop on neck of jacket to hang this on a hook. This is on every other jacket and fleece we own and we can hang items on hooks in our mudroom. This fleece now has a hook hump in the neck from not having the loop which every other thing we own and hang has..disappointed in this fleece. Not a quality jacket to overlook a necessity like this..

Black is Gray, not Black!

This review is more about the color than the jacket itself. i had one in black that i loved, but left it at a hotel and couldn't get it back. i ordered a replacement in black, but the one I received is gray not black. I couldn't find anything on the label and packaging indicating what color it is so I'm not sure if this is their idea of black or what. The one I had was absolutely black and that is what I wanted. It's too much trouble to send it back so I'm keeping the gray jacket, but I'm very disappointed with it and don't know how much I'll even really wear it. If you are looking for black as I was, don't order this one that is listed as "black".

Had issues with this jacket the first one i got was not black it clearly was grey, it also did not say Columbia so it is not the real brand name, i did tell them i am returning for a black one and one that says Columbia, well it does say Columbia but it is still not a true black leaning towards dark grey, i still have yet to wear it since i really want black, i will go to a store to get a proper jacket!

Based on reviews, I ordered an XL to have it big enough to be comfortable over clothes but while it would zip with a bit of tightness, the main problem was that the sleeves were 3-4 inches too long--all the way down to my fingertips. It just didn't look right. I loved the feel of the material and the color and wished it would have fit better overall. To me, it fit like a Large with sleeve length for someone well over 6' tall. I'm 5'3", 170 lbs (no comments on that please! : )

I have this exact same kind of fleece that I purchased a few years ago, in another color. The one I own is a nice thick fleece that can stand up to really cold temperatures, and is cut in a tailored way and offers a really nice silhouette. I bought three of these from Amazon in different colors and am incredibly disappointed in what Columbia has done now. The fleece is MUCH thinner, and the cut is larger. I am 5'4" 135 lbs. and very hourglassy...in the previous version of this fleece (the one I own) a Small was the perfect size for me, and was form-fitting without being too tight anywhere. I ordered a Small here, and it feels baggy in areas and is not a tailored fit. I will have to wear something underneath to balance this.

Very disappointed with Columbia. This may be a decent fleece for some people who never wore an earlier version, but considering what this product once was, it is clear that Columbia is using cheaper fleece and trying to still rake in the profits at the expense of the consumer.
