El material es bastante resistente, tengo un "C1-U" que es bastantito pesado y lo resiste perfectamentees un extra que el soporte ya viene con los clips para los diferentes tipos de microfono y no tienes que comprarlos a parte, lo unico que si se teien que tenes en cuenta qes que el cable que viene con el brazo no se puede remover, tampoco es la gran motestia las parte de arriba del cable solo se necesita doblar hacia a tras y se puede esconder entre los soportes, el cable es genial para quien usa microfonos con entradas normales mas el mis es de USB.

Pero por lo demas es excelente. 10/10

Compré este soporte para usarlo con un micrófono AKG 420.
En la ficha técnica del micrófono dice que tiene un peso neto de 530g. Súpongo que es el peso del micrófono solamente; una vez añadido el "shock mount", debe estar cercano al 1 Kg.

Menciono el peso del micrófono porque desde el principio tratar de ajustar el brazo fue un problema. Sentí que tenía que apretar demasiado sus tornillos. En general para que no se "caiga" por su propio peso.
Y hoy, después de poco tiempo, finalmente la parte que asegura el brazo a la mesa se venció.

Recomendaría que eviten este soporte si su micrófono pesa alrededor de 0.5 Kg.
Trataré de ver la opción de regresarlo, a pesar de que la ventana para hacerlo se cerró hace sólo 5 días.
Como nota extra, en la descripción del producto no viene un límite de peso, o un peso recomendado para el micrófono.

The material are sturdy and isn't cheaply made like other Chinese knockoff, but there are multiple flaws that keep this from being an excellent product:

1). the arms are metal, but the knobs are plastics, those knobs cannot be relied on to fix the position of the arm against gravity. If you tried to fight gravity with the knobs, expected the knobs to break.
2). the arms are joints are metal, but joints are not isolated with any rubber/acoustics isolating material. As a result, all the noise and vibration from base will travel all the way to the microphone
3). the arms are hollow, the vibration from base actually get amplified because of the metal construct

The shock mount is the only redeeming point, it balances out the noises amplified by the arms so that it isn't unusable. If you are using this on a base that does not have any vibration from fans/speakers etc..., if you never need to touch the arm, and if you do not need to use the knobs, this is a decent product. As it is, it is only average (it is still better than other $20 cheap knockoff)

Decent construction overall but the metal shock mount doesn't include a ⅜ adaptor for the gold piece so it doesn't thread properly. Only thing supporting it up is the XLR cable attached to my condenser mic, not good.

Can't contact seller.
I tried contacting support but their web form doesn't submit.
I tried calling but their number is no longer working.

Otherwise, if you're not using the shock mount, its decent. One more thing, the edges are sharp so if you pull the XLR cable to make adjustments it will chafe the cord like a knife.

not super nice but not horrible, does the job. a little hard to adjust takes some muscle and some parts feel a little cheap, honestly its exactly what youd expect for the price. XLR cable seems cheap but havent tried it yet

I purchased this a couple of times, and each time, it cannot hold the weight of even a decent-quality microphone without dipping a little. Worse is that, each time, the wing nut that holds the screw in place for adjusting the microphone has broken. For context, I adjust it twice every other day, on average. I set the microphone in place when I start streaming and I move it out of the way when I stop. This is apparently too much for it, as the last time I purchased it was less than a year ago and it broke again on me. I bought a different one this time.

This boom stand is only good for VERY light use. The design is great and the hardware used on the boom arm itself are well enough made, but the mounting system has issues. Most of these types of Suspension Boom Scissor Microphone Stands are cheaply made (I have tried four different types from different manufacturers so far), and this one is no different. Although this doesn't affect performance of the boom itself, it does matter when the base of the boom, where it seats into the clamp on holder, is so cheaply made and thin that it bends after only a few uses. In addition, the base, which appears to be made of cast aluminum, is much softer than the steel tensioning bolt (which keeps the boom from moving side to side once positioned) resulting in the soft aluminum threads stripping after several uses. Like most of the other people I know that record, my mic is mounted on my computer desk and is in the way when I'm not actually using it. So I reposition the boom, by swinging the arm up and to the side so that it sits flat against the wall when not in use. I use it and then move it back out of the way two or three times a week. After several weeks this stand started to show the issues described above. If you have a spot where the boom will remain in the same position all of the time, then this is good stand for the money, but if you need to move it regularly, then you might consider buying one that is built out of better materials.

The materials the mountain made of are pretty solid, it feels nice and sturdy if it's pointing a straight ahead from the mount. If you turn it off to the side at all it gets very wobbly and is not that stable. it works great if you're putting it directly in front of you, but if your plan was to put it off to the side I might recommend something that has a larger base to clamp onto the desk or some sort of collar that supports the entirety of the pin that goes into the mount.

This boom works well for a desk mount. The clamp securely attaches it without having to use tools. The tension adjustments hold the mic firmly; I just swing it away when not using it. The shock mount is too small for my mic, however (Sennheiser MD421). I crammed it in, but the elastic bands are so tight that they don't provide much (if any) isolation. I've since ordered the Sennheiser shock mount, which will fit perfectly on the boom. If I was using a narrower, lighter side-address mic - as in the pictures - it might be better, but the Sen is a front-address mic and is quite heavy. Also, I found the "built-in" mic cable is pretty much bottom shelf. I snipped it off, and externally routed a Lyx Pro cable. The difference in sound is remarkable. All in all, I'll be buying a couple more of these, and modding them to fit my requirements.
