Great budget, wireless microphone for DJs! Perfect for beach weddings!

There are some situations when there is no power available nearby and a client wants you to provide sound and a microphone for their event. This was the case for a beach wedding I had last week.

Instead of using a generator or running a few 100-feet extension cords to provide power, I decided to go completely wireless. In order to do this, I used my battery-powered speaker and my new wireless microphone from FiFine Technology.

The microphone was super easy to use straight out of the box and came with instructions for me to follow. I popped in some batteries into the microphone and receiver before my event. When setting it all up, the device was already in synced and my microphone worked on the first try.

I tested it out about 35 feet away and the sound that came out of my speaker was clear and there weren't any dropouts! During the wedding ceremony, their singer used the mic and sounded beautiful as she sang for the bride's entrance. The officiant also used the mic and everyone could hear him clearly.

If you're looking to complete your wireless sound system setup, consider getting this microphone. It's set at a great price value that gives you a wireless solution without breaking the bank and a sweat.

I spin vinyl records at clubs, private parties, weddings, etc. mainly. Recently a client asked if I had a microphone for them to use for speeches for their backyard retirement party and I said sure. Last minute they requested a wireless mic to be used 40 ft. from where I would be set up. Since this mic claims to work 80 ft. away I thoight it would be a good inexpensive solution. Shipping was quick and the item seemed to work fine, but (even with and brand new batteries) it cut out several times during the touching speeches of the family members about the retiree. I was embarassed and dissapointed to say the least. I was so disgusted I threw the entire unit in the TRASH immediately after the event. Do yourself a favor and spend the $200-$300 required for a decent microphone,

Terrible quality. Immediately out of the box, I could tell something was wrong. When you insert the batteries, the contact points would "push" into the body of the microphone, meaning that there was no way the microphone could power on. Something was not right inside the unit. I ended up unscrewing the head of the microphone, and there was just too much play in the inside for the circuit board to stay in place once batteries were inserted. I ended up shoving aluminum foil in the head of the microphone, and screwing it down tight to keep the circuit board from sliding around. The microphone powers on now, but what kind of mickey-mouse fix is that? No way it will last. Even the power switch to the mic is loosely fit and does not click with authority. I regret buying this, as I need it for an important event and will need to find another wireless microphone to buy. How is it so well reviewed?

Wow, yet again I'm impressed with Fifine.
This is the third microphone I've ordered from them and I'd easily price it higher.
So let's break this down a little. The video of course will show everything in detail but I'll some it up here.

Pros:
EASY to use, just turn it on at both ends.
Surprisingly good range. 80-100 feet. Depending on environment and interference.
Decent quality, vocals are nice and not flat.
INEXPENSIVE.

Cons:
NO 3.5mm ADAPTOR, I feel like this should come with it, the wireless lavalier did so it would be nice if it came with the k025
Since it is UHF there is a little bit of noise. which can be cleaned up later. Watch the video for an example. Not a deal breaker but this is something you probably should be aware of.

Overall great Mic and I'll definitely take this to comic con for interviews.

So far so awesome.
I got a more expensive one and had to return it. This one is better priced and has good sound. No strange feedback. I use it with a Pioneer DDJ-SZ2. Dj controller. I haven’t performed with it but I think it will be great. Testing was successful. Screaming into it or whisper. A good deal.

So far it is much better than I expected.

Short Story: Sounds better than a lot of WIRED mics I have in the sub-$100 price range, and the wireless connectivity has been pretty good.

Long Story: I am testing this plugged into a Zoom H5 with the record level (with an average voice) at 5.5 to 6.5 on the dial (gain setting) and it is loud enough, not clipping much and sounds pretty clean (not much noise from gain). The second test I did was by plugging it into a guitar amp (tested on both a Roland Cube Street and another, much cheaper amp) and the sound was pretty good. I turned the treble down on the Roland to reduce feedback and I was able to turn the volume up to 9 o clock on the dial (75% volume) without feedback. The only time I could produce feedback was when I brought the mic within 1 to 2 feet of the speaker, of course.

Bought this microphone to have karaoke with family after Christmas dinner. I tried it out immediately after delivery and it worked just fine. The main purpose for getting another mic was during duets each person had their own mic. On Christmas night when all the family gathered for karaoke the mike kept cutting out. I changed the batteries but still had the same problem. After about 30 minutes there was no response. It went totally dead, I was so disappointed. Had to do duets with one mic. Now I'm stuck with another useless gadget.

There is no setup, just put the batteries in and turn on receiver and mic and it works. How the heck did they make this microphone and sell it for so cheap? It works really well. Amazing, I think. Less than 40 bucks and you have a microphone with metal mesh. Range is great. I had less issues with feedback with this mic then my wired mic's, you have to point the mic directly at the speaker for it to squeal. Also, it comes with a rubber anti-roll piece that you put on the bottom when you aren't using it, so it won't roll off the table. That wasn't in the pictures. The base is a rubber cap that appears to be just glued on there. If you buy the version that has two mic's then the rubber caps are different colors. You don't need to but I plugged the receiver into a small mic preamp just to get better gain out of it, this isn't necessary though, works well just directly plugged into the amp. But, it had a fuller sound after the preamp. I used an ART Tube MP Studio Microphone Preamp.
