I like the material of this shirt. I have several other Daily Ritual made out of the same blend and I really like the weight and the feel, so I figured I’d give this shirt a shot. As other reviewers stated, the ties on the sides are very unflattering and serve no purpose. I returned because I didn’t like the length. In the photo, it hits the model’s upper thighs, but covers her entire crotch. This shirt hit 3” above my crotch, so the slits on the sides showed the skin of my torso above my pants line. I have a long torso, so I wasn’t surprised, just disappointed. I ordered a Medium and a Large since I’m usually a Large in Daily Ritual tops, but they are slightly roomy on me. I normally wear Medium tops from Old Navy/Gap and size 12 jeans. I would say this shirt is true to size as the Medium was a little snug and much shorter than the Large.
I really liked he weight of this shirt as well as the stretch. So close to being great! As other reviewers noted, I ditched the ties on the sides. They just didn’t lay right. It was also shorter in length than I anticipated (I am 5’10”)
The size of the sweatshirt was good. I wear a size 16 and got an XL and it fit ok (not lose, but also not too tight). It is not long enough to cover your butt unless you are short. The side ties were a bit odd (but they can be removed). The fabric felt much "stiffer" than I expected. I thought it would be as soft as the other Daily Ritual French Terry tunics, but that was not the case.
