I bought this a bit nervous that it wouldn’t work with my new Sony projector, but one hold on the pairing button and Avatar was (literally) out of this world! Totally recommend them. I got the slightly more expensive wraparound ones so it’d be more immersive. Top product and a fraction of the price of the Sony own brand, which also seems unobtainable (a bit like the element they’re looking for in Avatar…)
This product stated it works with 99% of Epson projectors, guess I'm the 1%. Not knowing much about 3D glasses I looked up M3DI glasses (as per the owners manual) and these came up and stated they work with 99% o Epson projectors. This was not the case. Can't blame the company for this, Amazon search returned the results and with the heading I thought they would work. Alas, turns out I need IR M3DI so will have to return these and order the IR version. Save your self the time, if you have an Epson that uses M3DI glasses, make sure you order the IR version of these glasses... not the RF / BT version.
In terms of quality of the product they seem very good, charged well, seem decently well made, nice clear lenses. The lenses could be a bit bigger as I could see out of the bottom of the glasses, but overall think these would have been a great deal and great product. Also, I have a large head, and the fit pretty comfortably, also the fit over my daughters glasses which would have been great if they worked for us. They have some great reviews online, even though they didn't work for me, I would recommend them to anyone with a compatible system.
I've been waiting 10 years to get the 3D experience that these glasses, along with the Epson 4050, give me. I have almost every 3D bluray ever released. No home 3D has ever looked good to me until now. I've turned into a basement bum watching all my 3D movies now ;)
I did need to turn up the brightness and contrast when watching dark scenes. However this is the only tweaking I've had to do to get the 3D image more visible. Fortunately the 3D effect stayed working.
The only discomfort is on the bridge of my nose wearing these in front of my regular glasses. I'll have to try a piece of sticky foam tape.
Thank you Sintron for a nice 3D experience on my home 135" screen!!
Excellent value for the money! 2 pairs for less than a single pair from the original manufacturers. Includes charging cables, but you need to have a USB charger or device of your own. Most of us have extras from old cell phones, but even a computer USB port could be used to charge them.
Image quality was very good through them. I didn't notice any more flicker than my active Panasonic glasses that take a CR2032 button battery. They fit over my glasses ok, though my daughter complained that they didn't fit well over hers. Beware of this if you have large frames, though I doubt you'd find any active glasses that are larger than these. Comfort is on par with other 3D glasses when worn over other glasses.
These glasses worked perfectly with my Epson 2040. They connected with my projector almost immediately upon turning them on. Actually faster than my Hi Shock pairs. Watching 3D movies with them was good. The difference in brightness between my higher end pairs is negligible. They are a bit narrow for my face and find that I have to bend the arms that wrap and sit on your ear out to avoid being scratched by the edges at the end. Quality is so so. They do feel some what flimsy and the viewing size of the glass very narrow, which is the biggest flaw with these. You will see the edges while viewing a movie, which takes away from the immersize feel. I did not have these glasses that long, so I cannot comment of the battery life. All in all, pretty good value for money when it comes to RF 3D glasses, as most pairs from known brands are fairly expensive.
These glasses are the perfect extra pair of 3D glasses to go with your existing glasses and 3D TV or 3D Projector. I am pairing these with my Epson 5040 3D projector. They are not quite as comfortable as the pair of glasses I received from Epson, but at a fraction of the price, they make the perfect extra pair for those times when you need more. One button pairing is instantaneous with my projector and the quality beats those passive glasses used in most theaters. I charged my first pair a year ago and they are still going strong today with plenty of juice left for many more movies. I recommend these as an excellent and affordable option for those times when you need extra pairs.
Good 3D glasses. Paired instantly with my Epson 2100. Much better than the cheaper Sintron glasses with the bendy arms, which broke the second time I put them on. These have foldable arms, feel sturdier and are more comfortable on the nose. They also block some light from the sides which helps immersion. The lenses could be bigger, so I took off a star, but I wear them without glasses so they are fine for me.
These glasses are great maybe a bit bulkier then some other options but durable. I have broken about 6 samsung 3d glasses some of which cracked ridiculously easy but one day i actually dropped 1 of these off the top shelf from roughly 8 feet high onto laminet based on my past experience i was sure i broke another pair of glasses but these were fine i instantly bought 2 more when i saw that. Great value and durability.
