I liked the concept because a hooding on a jacket makes it bulkier. The collar shawl was interesting, but honestly not flattering at all. You literally have to tie your neck super tight to even get the shape of the shawl.

- 27" long, center back
- Sleeves 18.5" long, but a smaller, inside 4.25" extension comes out to add 2" more.
- Collar is 8" wide at back, tapering in towards the front
- Functional drawstring around neck
- 4 snap flap over zipper is 2" wide
- Front side seam pocket on each side, very deep
- Hanging loop at neck, plus a huge brand patch and small annoying tag
- Machine wash warm, gentle, non-chlorine bleach if need. Tumble medium, with 3 clean tennis balls, remove promptly. Do not iron or dry clean.
- Stitching looks fine

I'm not all that into the weird laundry needs. I don't keep any laundry tennis balls hehe.

Anyway, it's pretty toasty. Turns out I don't care for the collar. It's a lot of bulk that doesn't serve much purpose, and frankly, looks weird. I learned I can't wear it while driving else it can literally block my view.

It's ok, though, as far as construction, so might be a good option for others to consider.

A bit tighter in the arms than expected and head opening is like a clown's collar

Mostly, I like this jacket. It is a nice length (I'm 5'4 for reference and clothes have the tendency to overpower me, but this does not). It has a comfy, snug fit, if a bit too snug. The arms were tighter than I wanted but not unbearably tight. I feel like it could be more filled with more "puff" if you will, but I am sure this will do fine on a 45/50 degree day if not colder. My one complaint is the head opening or top part of the coat is very strange when you get it on. It is not a hood, but also opens kind of wide like an open flower leaving your neck exposed on a cold, windy day. It looks weird and not as fashionable as it looks on the model. But for the most part, this will do.

Collar is a bit awkward but nice coat otherwise

This isn't a bad coat if you don't mind the collar. But the collar doesn't at all look how it does in the picture, it's VERY awkward and ungainly and just sticks out strangely. It's almost like a puffy vampire collar. Just strange. That being said, I got this for a warm coat for outside work and going for walks because I desperately needed one and this works GREAT for that. It doesn't have any interior pockets, just two simple pockets on the outside. So keep that in mind too. Warmth is great and value is great. Great coat other than the collar.

So I know this says shawl collar, but It's like a baby boppy around my head lol. May be the style, just not mine. Other than that it's a super cute jacket and feels like it would do the job.
