The sound quality was not as good as the failed unit it replaced. The switch used to switch to different input sources is sometimes difficult. The ability to connect to bluetooth is nice but I would have liked it better if that was an option and not the default. Otherwise it is a reasonable unit for a reasonable price.
If you wanted a Logitech you should've bought one. These are ok. I have a logitech z5500 and X-530. far from the sound quality of either but cool thing i liked about these is that it was bluetooth. I had no expectation that these would be great. it was either these or a crappy sound bar without a sub that only had maybe 20-30 watts. I went with these. One of the reviewers had mentioned the bass knob on the back is either no bass or all bass. lol i thought he was bs-ing, nope. But i'm fine with it. It's hooked up to a cheap mini projector in the backyard. haven't got it to work via bluetooth with the projector (it paired but no sound) but works good with my phone, with the aux line into the projector, it worked ok. I'm content with these for now.
These are great for the price. It has decent sound quality and great bass. The only things I don’t like is the constant hissing sound, but that’s common in most computer speakers, and the fact that ever time you turn the speakers off you have to re hit the connection button in order to reconnect with your device. It’s not the end of the world but it’s a little irritating.
I use these for home recording monitors and for music/video playback. I like that it has a separate volume adjustment for the subwoofer. It has a lot more volume and overall better sound than the small (almost the same price) Logitech powered speakers I use on my regular laptop. Easy to set up and use.
It would be 5 stars, but the plug in the back that the speakers connect to is a bit wonky. If I bump the subwoofer ever so slightly the sound goes in and out on one of the speakers. Aside from that, great inexpensive combo for a desktop. Already recommended to a friend; just not for any audiophiles.
