Pensé que era el dispositivo y solo por no dejar probe con un cable categoria 5!!!! de 30 metros y7 funciono todo PERFECTO!!!! vaya calidad del cat 6... quizas les este pasando esto a los que tuvieron problemas, con un cat6
I am using this from our Home Theater Receiver (HTR) to a projector about 25-feet away. I am running new CAT-6 cable I bought to go with it and it works for for 1080p x60FPS. Mostly!
Around every 20 or 30 minutes it will give a black screen for 1 to 2 seconds. I tried a few different HDMI cables between the HTR and the Transmitter box and also at the projector end. Even bought a pair of short 4K-HDMI cables, but still always that occasional black screen.
I swapped it all out and ran an HDMI cable for an evening's TV and no a black screens in 6-hours of watching.
Another thing I don't like and I should have realized **before** buying is that it needs 110vac at the projector end. I am amazed they are not using POE for the projector end. So I have a wall-wart, a long coil of black wire as well as the black box receiver to try and cover up on the ceiling mount projector.
I struggled to get this thing to work. I have 2 rooms that need to share this tv box. Both rooms have 1 Ethernet cable running into them. The tv box gets its signal from the 1 line going into its room. My hope was that this gadget would work with a switch. It doesn’t. It also doesn’t work with an Ethernet splitter. My final effort was to run a new Ethernet cable from the room with the tv box directly to the second tv room. This worked. But you need to keep the run as short as possible. Also, this gadget is very picky about the signal. I had a couple of old cat 5e cables that didn’t work. Make sure you use good quality, perhaps new cat 6 or 7. Try switching cables before throwing in the towel. 5 stars because ultimately it worked. Saved us from renting a new box.
The first transmitter/receiver pair worked well for 3 months (1080p over 40 ft of Cat6), and then the video (but not the audio) started cutting out briefly every few minutes. Amazon sent a replacement which was much worse: no audio and pixelated video.
Worked terrible at first. Screen would freeze up one second out of 10. I then thought to press the EQ button. Everything is working perfectly now. I used this with a powered splitter over for 1080p over 100 feet of cat6.
Used this to run HDMI video on a large ship. Only had Cat5E cable available onboard at the time. The run is at least 100ft. It is impressive since the purpose is to display text and graphics. Picture is crisp and no one can tell that the source isn't connected directly with HDMI cable. Sometimes the picture is lost while the ship thrusters are high revving. I believe better cable shielding would cut out the interference.
Using it to extend the output of a FIOS STB. The picture has white pixels randomly distributed and does not react well to video with high contrast areas. Installed two CAT6 cables to the TV location since I wanted to use the other one for internet access to get the TV off wifi. Both cables (about 60 feet each run) shows the same "sparkling" effect on screen. Bought new CAT6 just for this job and didn't use CCA, all copper.
We were using the Monoprice wall plates to run a pair of projectors in our sanctuary. They kept failing on us and needed to be replaced every other month. Bought one of these to test out and see if it was our location or the equipment. And it has been working great and just fine.
