The design is extremely cheap with brittle plastic and worst of all the cord is dark green unlike the white pictured. It’s very obviously a cord and looks incredibly tacky. This is something you would expect to see at something from the dollar store.

Terrible quality. I wouldn’t recommend nor would I buy it again. There is no return policy because overall this is a bad product from a bad seller. I’m dissatisfied and don’t want anyone else to feel the same way. Don’t waste your money.

Amazon should not sell this item. The information provided by the manufacturer/distributor is incorrect at best, but carefully vague and misleading. This thing weighs about one ounce, NOT one pound. For outdoor use? It is not weather proof by any stretch of the imagination. The light bulb is NOT warm, it's white, bordering on "cool." I looked at the E17 base of the bulb with a magnifying glass and the bulb is 1.5 watts, NOT 15 watts. Just for fun I tried finding a replacement bulb and no one sells them, not even Amazon. Quite difficult to assemble, with normal sized hands with good dexterity. It's flimsy junk. I know this sounds like a rant, but I've bought hundreds of items from Amazon over the years and this is THE first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review.

Disappointed! Not worth the price at all! It was difficult to snap the little plastic clips together. Hard to fit your finger in between to snap the clips in . For this price it should have be assembled! I don’t like that you can see the plastic clips when it’s put together. It has to be attached to the tree with plastic cable ties. It should have came with a cone shape device to just set on the tree. Now i will have to stand on step stool to try and attached cable ties to tree. If I had not spend so much time snapping in the clips I would have returned it.

One of the worst designs I've seen in a while and I was in consumer products for 30+ years. 1. Bulb socket when installed per instructions puts AC wire in a severe bend. 2. Clip that is supposed to hole socket in place, doesn't. 3. Takes a lot of effort to expand star into it's full shape. No reason it should be that hard. 4. AC wire occupies the same space that the "stem" used to attach to your tree occupies. Problem is there is not enough room for both. Bottom line is while $29 may not be a lot of money, it's too much for this product. I'm returning this one and looking for something better to adorn the top of our Christmas tree.

Nope. I’m sending this back. Incredibly underwhelmed for the price. I’m not even going to attempt to put this together. After I print out my return label and drop this back in the mail, I’m going to swing by the store and get something much higher quality and already assembled for half the price. Steer clear!

Do not buy this! I assembled this following instructions and used included bulb. First time was fine. Lit it about an hour ago and suddenly began smelling burning plastic. Thankfully we quickly figured out where it was coming from and unplugged it. I would NEVER leave this on when you're not home, or overnight. It looked nice in our window but it's absolutely not worth the risk! After installation, and hanging it, the cord must have pulled, which made the lightbulb move too close to the top plastic. This shouldn't be so easy to slip because obviously it burns very quickly. I would never buy this again.

Really annoying style where you have to assemble 25 little pieces each with a bunch of screws. It would be a nightmare to disassemble at the end of the season. Sending it back! There are others that are "instant easy assembly" that just unfold and fold back down.

The instructions are totally unclear. The written instructions contradict the pictures. It comes with a stick to help attach it to your tree but you can’t put the stick in the hole because the cord is coming out that hole and there’s no where else for the cord to come out. And it attaches to the tree with zip ties. Really? The box is weird, the top doesn’t fit in the bottom.

Like maybe I got a Chinese knockoff. Or maybe it just sucks. I’m returning it. The included bulb is too “cold” so it doesn’t even look good.
