It's decent for the price, the box it comes it is awkward as all get out but could be used to play with for a kid as one of those plastic kitchens? Kinda random but the box was the more interesting item for a bit for me lol. However the soundboard and sub are really very easy to connect and I got it fairly quickly. Sub is bass-y but not very quality sound. I'm an audiophile tho so I'm more picky than I should be. For $50 bucks not a bad purchase but I'd splurge a little more if I were you and get some quality stuff.
I don't have a lot of experience with sound bars but this is a step up from rear firing speakers on a TV or monitor that don't have a wall to bounce off of. Compared to my monitors built in speakers they are a vast improvement in volume but, due to a weird low pass cut off to the wireless sub, dialog becomes muddy and lost in busy sound stages. while it does have a cinematic mode meant for movies I find that is the only mode worth using AND it is only useful for youtube videos as high production movies are to busy to get dialog without some serious tweaks to your EQ on the source side to push speech out of the low end range - I often don't even turn the sub on. I miss my dinky little Dell speakers, even as stereo-only 2w, line level, speakers they were better than this - though I can at least say this bar gives you options however limited they are.
I was hoping for a decent/cheap soundbar and sub that did the bare min of supporting Dolby. The Dolby support works at least (tested in Windows), despite having very few references. However, the biggest disappointment was the subwoofer as it produced odd bass, possibly an already blown speaker. The sound of the basic Dolby test in Windows 10 was bad as far as I can tell. Otherwise Optical and Aux were fine (I suspect Optical supports Dolby only). Bluetooth was a bit wonky but that could be my setup. I have a different soundbar that has zero issues with Bluetooth so your mileage may vary.
Edit: 12/12/21 From some retesting, there is some issue with some audio and for whatever reason, the sub is just spewing noises with no clarity. Speakers likely to have issues.
Over, the bass/subwoofer is its greatest disappointment.
