The metal pieces that screw into the plastic body of the handle, do not properly thread into it - leaving the lock unreliable. I tried several times to get them to thread properly, with no success. 2 Locks at a cost of $550 total, and a return that goes unapproved - no a happy customer. Would not recommend product or seller.
Do not waste your money. Very poorly made. After using it for less than 3 months the handle snapped off in my hand when I opened the door. It wasn't due to a loose screw or anything, the inside pieces just shattered and it broke. Even before that it was not a very good product. The fingerprint reader was extremely touchy, it wouldn't let me register custom codes like you were supposed to be able to do, and the app only worked sometimes. There are better handles out there.
When I received it it was in pieces I had to build the deadbolt lock and the screw on the inside door handle the net that hold it together was all stripped out side to take out the law clip to be able to get to work contacted their support out of China and after 2 messages they quit talking to me I ask them to send a replacement and that I would send the damaged one back and they haven't responded so hopefully since it's fulfilled by Amazon they will do something when they call me tomorrow because I contacted them 1st about it I will update soon as I find out
So this product was great for about a month.. please trust me when I say save yourself some money. After about a month the handle starts bugging out hard core. Battery fully charged, just constant blinking or doesn’t activate at all Impossible to get the portion off to access to reset button and batteries. Just pass this one up
The only thing that works is to tap and unlock in the app. 1. I generated the passcode - doesn't unlock 2. I created a custom passcode - doesn't unlock 3. Finger print reader captures the first finger print and the app doesn't prompt for subsequent prints after waiting for 3-5mins
Works perfectly until it breaks internally! There is a wired connection that needs to be made on the inside that is very thin and flimsy. It snapped off internally only one month after installation. I was very saddened after having spent so much money and disposing of all the packaging.
Cheap plastic cover on inside lever doesn't close properly and the outside number panel is covered by glass that broke before we could even use it. Difficult to install. Unfortunately we didn't try to install until after the return window closed so we just had to throw it away.
setup the lock after 2 days all settings was deleted. Battery has problem. If you want to open and close remotely you have to buy a Gateway And this product doesn’t have customer service. You can not call them . You have to send a email.
I would stay away from this product, installed it August of 2021 and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. After about 3 -4 months it really started to fail. 6 months in its worthless and i have to replace.
