You know this camera surprised me. I'm a professional photographer an have several higher end cameras an some mid tier ones. So I wasnt expecting much for $80 but I wanted a cheaper back up camera i didnt have to worry about. It does shoot 1080p video it is a 24mp camera which surprised me. It has a light built in an has a hot shoe for extra light or gear. Comes with two batteries they seem to hold a decent charge. Has a 16x zoom. Here's the thing about this camera you should not be expecting the world for a camera this price. However if you arent a professional an just want a decent little camera without sinking tons of money into a camera this is the one for you. Again dont expect the world for this price. It's a decent camera it shoots 1080p video can take pictures and it's simple to use. Its literally ready to use out of the box if you put an sd card in it. Which believe me is a good thing. Overall I really like this little camera an recommend it highly for beginners.

Overview: This camera is a very good value for the low cost and the versatility/capability features. It is compact and lightweight with a protective case.
I found the instructions easy to follow for quick use of the camera. I found all the features were very usable and easy to setup.
The images were very sharp and there are multiple settings for such situations as landscape, portrait, sport, beach, backlighting, night which allow you to optimize lighting regardless of your photo situation.
The camera 3” screen rotates so if you need to take photos close to the ground (like pets and young children) you do not have to get on your knees to do so.
I found the camera light adjustment and depth of field focus and very responsive while photographing and changes in these circumstances.
It is easy to set up your date/time for recordings
The anti-shake and Telephoto to wide angle 15x adjustment contributes to smooth video transition.
When continuously taking video between inside, back lighting and outside with the camera is set on “automatic”, the camera responds very quickly to all the light change dynamics.
It is very easy and quick to change between video and photo.
The mic replicates the sound realistically.
The menu provides a lot of adjustments that can be made such as video formats, exposure settings, even effects such as sepia, warm, color, B/W normal, sharpness adjustment, sun, indoor, cloudy, even HD, 1080P, 720P and other settings, white balance.
You have several camera settings to shut down by itself to conserve battery in case you forget to turn it off.
The camera screen will show multiple videos for review to select for either playback or delete.
It comes with the cables to connect to your TV USB and audio inputs if your TV is so equipped.
Also, you have the cable to connect to your computer and the instructions for the free software to download and use with internet posting application.

So, if your cellular phone is busy for use of such things as text messaging, snap shots, tweeting, Facebook, multiple apps, etc. this is the perfect reasonably priced compliment for video capture of your active life.

Not a bad little camera for the price. That said, the user interface is a little clunky. The user manual doesn't really go into depth on how to use the camera that well, and you have to puzzle out the menus yourself. Yes, the camera comes with two rechargeable batteries, but it does not include a charger, so the first thing you need is to buy one. I'm surprised that they didn't at least link to a charger in the "Things that people who buy this also buy." section.

For a beginner looking for an easy to use video camera, you’ve found the right product! I’m a hardcore review reader in order to make sure I find the perfect product. There weren’t a lot of reviews when I purchased this, but the ones there were stellar! And the price I couldn’t pass up compared to others that had similar features. I’ve always used my phone for video, but this is better for “on the go”; specifically for hiking adventures. It’s much easier to hold in my hand, and I honestly feel like a professional when filming! Being a first-time video camera user, the functions are confusing, but the user manual it comes with makes learning how to use it a breeze. The only negative I’ve come across is that the clarity of the colors that it records aren’t as bright and vibrant as I was hoping, but that’s when you start spending the big $$. Overall, great for what I expected! Don’t forget to also purchase a memory card!

I was so excited to receive this camcorder after reading so many great reviews. Let me tell you, I am hugeee on reviews and the fact that this was on the top 2 best seller for it's category, this seemed like the perfect choice. My plans were to record family events and vacations so we could look back at all the beautiful memories later on. Unfortunately, the quality is that of a kid's camera and the volume is so low that I practically have to yell in order for it to be loud enough to understand. The battery and the SD card were also a bit of a hassle to insert / eject. I know that considering the price point one shouldn't expect top notch quality but besides it's sleek appearance, this almost seems like a toy camera that i'd get for my younger siblings or kids. Think ill be returning it :(

This is NOT a robust camera. It works fine. I needed a webcam with the ability to zoom in and this does that. You CAN use it, hooked up to your Win10 PC (USB) with NO other power, NO battery and NO memory card. All good features. This will likely work for now. If my budget was a bit steeper, I'd spend a lot more for a dedicated camera.

By robust, you need to know this is ALL plastic. It's really light. Taking it out in the woods or on trips where you're likely to drop it... Buy the warranty. "Its really okay" is about as well as I can rate it.

They tell you in the manual you can get certain software to control it. That software is VERY limited unless you upgrade.

Finally, I'll keep this and save money for something better someday.

Great camera for the casual user, family videos, youtube videos ext! My dad videord all our Christmases and major events growing up and every Christmas we binge watch our "family videos" and relive all our favorite memories. A few years ago our antique video camera finally bit the dust, being we were older we didn't bother to replace it for a few years but now that grandbabies have entered the scene I bought this camera for my dad to start videoing our family Christmases once again! So exciting to bring our tradition back to life! This camera is super easy to use, my dad being used to his antique camera was amazed by the quality and was easily able to figure out how to use the camera! Great size makes for easy transport and handling, camera can be used while plugged in which is great when trying to video for long periods of time (like an entire Christmas) definitely the PERFECT camera for some home videos! And I was excited to find one of good quality for such a great price! Great product great price sums it up nicely!
